These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at canadian.edu.sg and any associated subdomains (the "Site"), operated by Canadian Education College Pte. Ltd. ("CEC", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
You may use this Site only if you can form a binding contract with CEC under applicable law, and only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable local, state, national and international laws. If you are under the age of 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Site. Prohibited behaviour includes:
If you submit information through the Site (e.g. enquiry forms, level test bookings), you agree that the information is accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for any information you submit, and for keeping any login credentials confidential.
All content on the Site β including text, graphics, logos, images, course materials, photographs, video, and software β is owned by CEC or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view, download, and print content from the Site solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, or create derivative works of any content without our prior written consent.
The CEC name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Canadian Education College Pte. Ltd.
We make reasonable efforts to keep course information (fees, schedules, intake dates, content) accurate and up to date on the Site. However, course details are subject to change without notice. The information that governs your enrolment is the version stated in your Standard PEI-Student Contract at the time of signing.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g. Calendly, WhatsApp, British Council, Google Maps, social media platforms). These are provided for your convenience. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party services.
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CEC disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that information on the Site is complete, current, or free from errors. The Site does not constitute legal, immigration, financial or professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CEC and its directors, officers, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages β including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses β arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Site.
Our total cumulative liability arising out of or related to your use of the Site shall not exceed SGD 100 or the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CEC, its directors, officers, employees and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your use of the Site; or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason β including breach of these Terms. The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) shall survive.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. Where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply, those rights are unaffected.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated through the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
